Separate tickets need a little care. This is what matters.
Which ticket do I book first?
Check that both flights are available at prices you’re happy with, then book the long haul first. It’s usually the bigger expense, so get that confirmed before booking your hop and a place to stay.
What if my flight is delayed?
Your hop and long haul are separate tickets. If the hop is delayed and you miss the long haul, you could have to pay for a new flight yourself. That’s why staying overnight at the hub makes sense: even a delay of several hours can still leave you time to catch your flight the next day. It doesn’t remove every risk, but it gives you much more room than a same-day connection. If your long haul has a layover, check that both flights are on one ticket without a self-transfer. On a protected connection, the airline will arrange another flight if a delay makes you miss the next one.
Are the prices exact?
No, they’re estimates. We check prices on every route ourselves, regularly, but not at the moment you search. Most prices are from the last few days, and popular routes get checked more often. We use those prices to find trips worth a look, then you check the current price on the booking site before you buy.
How far ahead can I search?
You can search up to 6 months ahead. We usually have more prices for the next month or two, so you’ll have more options closer to your trip. If you don’t find much for a later date, try again nearer the time.
How does multi-city work?
Pick the cities you want to visit and how long you want to travel. We’ll work out which order to visit them in and how many nights to spend in each, using the flight prices we have. If you don’t have places in mind, choose Surprise and tell us how many cities you’d like to visit. You book each flight separately, and the total is for flights only. Places to stay are up to you.

Which hubs do you search?
We’re Europe-based, so for now we focus on European hubs and their long-haul routes. These include cities like London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Madrid. We look for hubs you can reach with a short hop before continuing to your destination.
